Proceeding to the Sibu Central Market, search and purchase some foods for lunch at the longhouse later. Walk over to the Rajang Express Wharf; take one of the local express boat (fast passengers ferry) to the village of Bawang Assan via Rajang & Lebaan River. Pass by villages, famous shipyards and timber processing factories along the way.

Arrive in Bawang Assan Village; proceed to one of the Iban longhouse where you'll be welcome with a shot of Tuak (rice wine), and have a taste of Iban pastries such as Chuan & Sarang Semut. Lunch with Iban delicacies such as Manok Pansuh (Bamboo Chicken) & Upa (Bamboo Shoot). Watch the demonstration on using the blowpipe, join in for some more fun. Learn from the Iban maiden the art of weaving Pua Kumbu, as well as the others of Iban fine textiles.

Try on the colourful Iban costumes yourself; just make sure you get your camera ready for some photo sessions. One of the experience you won't find anywhere else. Walk around the village to see the life of the Iban people and surrounding, proceed to the meeting point with your land transfer. Journey back to Sibu.
