Meet up with local guide before proceeding straight to Ulu Bayong. Have a quick rest at Jakar rest stop along the way. View the hilly scenery on the way with some peppers vineyards, rubber trees, rice paddy even longhouses just by the roadside.
Embark on your journey through the still green and undisturbed forest, with sightings of flora and fauna all the way. Here, you can also view up close and personal with some of plants and herbs that the locals normally use for medicinal purpose and even for making ink as the base for Pua Kumbu.
Stop for some rest at one of the waterfall in the middle of the jungle, maybe even get yourself wet splashing around in the cool and clear water. Break for some lunch before tracking back to the starting point. Get yourself clean up and refresh before journey back to Sibu.
